Jürgen has had Dobermann’s for many years and has been breeding them since 1987. I got my first Dobermann (Leia) in January 2005 and my second (Tycho) in October 2005. Unfortunately I had to re-home Leia in April 2007, she is a wonderful dog, but she did not adjust well to our new circumstances, she is much happier in her new home where she is the centre of attention. We spend a lot of time with our dogs; we walk them everyday, train them and show them at selected shows.

Actros is a true “gentle giant”. Actros doesn’t have a mean bone in his body he is extremely well behaved and loves to lick the cats; they don’t mind the attention at all, but like all cats only when they want it.

Irie is from the first litter Jürgen and I bred together, she's a granddaughter of Actros and Pipi. She is a sweet girl, with a heart of gold.

Bjork is an Actros daughter. She is Jürgen's shadow, she barely even notices when I'm around LOL.

Lina came to us at 6 years of age as a rescue dog. She was brought here by a friend of ours from Germany when her previous owners no longer wanted her. She is a fantastic dog! We're so happy to have her in our lives.

RIP - Pipi was the “grande dame”, she was 9 years old when we had to send over the rainbow bridge, we miss her every day.

RIP - Tycho was a son of Actros. It was with a broken heart that we had to send Tycho back to heaven on the 15th of January 2008. Tycho had a cancerous tumor behind his eye, even after he had his eye removed it progressed very fast and rather than let him live in pain we chose to let him go. Tiger was an angel, he came to me at the hardest time of my life, he was my shoulder to cry on, my constant companion and my friend. He led me joy and happiness, for that I will be eternally grateful. Tiger has done what he was sent here for, now he's gone to be an angel for someone else who needs him.

Even though our dogs are used to our cats and vice versa we have a special area of the garden that is a dog free zone. The cats have access to the house and their garden where they can not be irritated by the dogs (and their food is safe!).
